Los estudiantes de secundaria y preparatoria de hoy se enfrentarán a una variedad de tentaciones y pruebas en un intento de desviarlos de su viaje espiritual. Para ayudarlos a vivir la mejor vida posible, la vida que Dios diseñó, queremos desafiarlos a conectarse a través de relaciones centradas en Cristo, crecer en el camino de Cristo y dar como Cristo dio. Este programa les enseñará versículos bíblicos, les dará una base espiritual y los equipará con verdades espirituales que se aplican al adolescente del siglo XXI. Su adolescente estará interesado en la lección basada en la Biblia, ya que son relevantes para los estudiantes de hoy.

WANT TO VOLUNTEER?

Here is a list of  requirements for our volunteer youth workers at Victory Baptist Church

 

Personal and Spiritual Qualifications

1. Strong Christian Faith: A personal relationship with Jesus Christ, regularly attending services, and committed to spiritual growth.

2. Agreement with Church Doctrine: You must be a member of VBC and willing to uphold and align with the core beliefs, values, and mission of Victory Baptist Church.

3. Moral Integrity: Living a lifestyle that reflects Christian values, including personal conduct, online behavior, and relationships.

4. Prayerful Attitude: Regularly prays for the youth, church, and community, seeking God's guidance in ministry.

 

Age and Experience

5. Minimum Age: 21 years or older

6. Experience with Youth: Previous involvement with children or teenagers, either through church, school, or community programs, is beneficial but not always required.

 

Skills and Abilities

7. Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and mentor youth, offering guidance and support in both spiritual and personal matters.

8. Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with youth, parents, and other volunteers.

9. Problem-Solving: Able to manage conflicts or challenges that arise within the group with a calm and biblical approach.

10. Organization: Capable of planning and organizing events, Bible studies, and activities for the youth group.

11. Creativity and Energy: Enthusiastic about creating engaging and fun experiences for youth, from games to discussions.

 

Responsibilities

12. Weekly Commitment: Willingness to commit to regular attendance at youth group meetings, church services, and special events.

13. Teaching and Discipleship: Leading or assisting with Bible studies, small groups, and discussions to help youth grow in their faith.

14. Event Participation: Involvement in church-wide activities, camps, mission trips, and outreach programs designed for the youth.

15. Mentorship: Developing positive, nurturing relationships with youth, acting as a role model, and offering support through their spiritual journey.

 

Background and Safety

16. Background Check: Willingness to undergo a criminal background check, as required for anyone working with minors.

17. Safe Ministry Training: Completion of child protection or safety training programs to ensure the safety and well-being of the youth.

18. Team Player: Ability to work well with other youth leaders, church staff, and volunteers, supporting the overall mission of the youth ministry.

 

Attitude and Commitment

19. Compassionate and Approachable: Having a heart for youth, showing kindness, patience, and a willingness to listen.

20. Teachable Spirit: Open to feedback, guidance, and continuous learning, both spiritually and in the role of a youth worker.

 

These requirements help ensure that the youth group maintains a safe, supportive, and faith-centered environment for young people to grow.
